Karina Meden Sorensen is undertaking her PhD in Denmark jointly at the Molecular Biology Laboratory, Statens Serum Institute (SSI) and the Department of Medical Genetics and Biochemistry, University of Copenhagen. Her co-supervisors are Paal Skytt Andersen (SSI) and Lars Larsen (University of Copenhagen). Karina has a master of science in biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen, where her thesis was Troponin and other candidate genes in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy Genetic screening and RNA analysis.
