Floriana is a graduate of the University of Naples with a thesis in enzymology: Study of functional surfaces of Sso7d protein in the archaeon Sulfolobus solfataricus. Floriana has many publications and abstracts to her name and her current research is the study of differential methylation status of placenta-specific genes.
