Eliza Papageorgiou

Eliza is of Greek-Cypriot descent and is a graduate of the Department of Biology at Athens University. Eliza continued her studies by obtaining a MSc in "Human Molecular Genetics" from the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College, London. Eliza's PhD project involves the application of microarray- based technology for the identification of feto-maternal methylation differences in maternal plasma. The first year of Eliza's PhD will be based at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in Cambridge with the following two years at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics.
