Marie van Dijk has a degree in pharmacology and is undertaking her PhD at the Department of Clinical Chemistry, VU Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Marie, who is supervised by Dr Cees Oudejans, will continue working on the STOX1 gene with a focus on the development of RNA and DNA markers for preeclampsia related to this gene.
