1. PhD Studentship program
Studentship officers: Paal Skytt Andersen (WP4), Tobias Legler (WP3)
SAFE has launched a program of PhD studentships. 16 studentships were nominated. This program started in February-March 2006. The aim of this program is
- To establish and enhance collaborations between different groups and partners
- To integrate different projects
- To establish a network of young scientists (students) which will ensure that durable integration beyond the EU funding period will be achieved
An induction workshop will be held in May 2006.

2. Fellowship program
Fellowship officer: Andres Lopez Bernal (WP3)
A program for fellows will be developed. This will include workshops and training courses. Fellows will participate in the PhD workshops helping in the organization, chairing sessions, supervising the PhD students. They will be involved in the writing up of projects.
