Francesco graduated from College of Notre Dame, California, USA and also has an MSc in Biochemical Engineering from The University of Birmingham, UK. After undertaking a PhD in Control of Cell Senescence by Modulation of Telomerase Over-expression, Francesco is now working as a research fellow in SAFE at the University of Warwick. As part of work package 3 his work involves developing novel biomarkers for free fetal DNA. Current work involves using an epigenetic approach involving differentially methylated DNA to isolated free fetal DNA from the Maternal Circulation. |
