Ananda studied Psychology at The University of Amsterdam before completing her BSc in Psychology at the University of Kent at Canterbury (UKC). Here she continued to study for her MSc in Health Psychology, for which she was awarded a distinction, while working as a Research Assistant. Following this she joined the Personal Social Services Research Unit at UKC where she worked on a project assessing older people's sense of control. In 2006 she joined Kings College London Health Psychology Section of the Psychology Department of the Institute of Psychiatry, as a Research Assistant based on the Guys campus. Her main focus is working on the SAFE project which is looking at informed choice for non-invasive prenatal and neonatal diagnosis and attitudes towards fetal sexing. |
