SAFE Associate: Terms of Association

Introduction

An individual party or institution can be a SAFE Associate if they are interested in the goals or technology areas of the SAFE Network.

To be registered as a SAFE Associate, all we require are your contact details and a Confidentiality Agreement to be signed by an authorised signatory of your organisation. Please email Anna Guszcza, SAFE Project Assistant, to obtain a Confidentiality Agreement.

Benefits of being a SAFE Associate

Registration will allow a SAFE Associate to:
  • Receive an annual update on programme progress via email;
  • Receive email notifications of conferences and seminars where the SAFE Network is presenting;
  • Receive email notification of news within the SAFE Network;
  • Be invited to SAFE Network meetings or events (e.g. Workshops) that are open to SAFE Associates.

Being a SAFE Associate does not infer or imply membership of the SAFE Network of Excellence. Associates have no access to knowledge, know how or intellectual property generated within the Network.

If an Associate has skills not accessible within the Network then they may either request or be requested by the Network to perform work within the Network. This will be carried out either as a subcontractor to a particular partner following the EU rules and subject to contract, or the Associate may request or be invited to become a full partner.

A list of Associates may be published on the public area of the SAFE Network website, consisting of the Associate’s name and the institution/organisation to which they belong.
